The Farm
We are a micro farm that operates a small scale agricultural operation focusing on high quality products.
The breeds we've chosen make the most of our abundant pasture, thriving on a diet of grass as well as clover and herbs. Our philosophy is simple: to work in harmony with nature, producing wholesome, high-quality products from healthy, well-cared-for animals and land.
Minstrels Farm is where traditional values meet modern sustainability — a place where respect for the land and animals shapes everything we produce.
Meadow Grass Hay
We produce our own premium hay, grown and baled right here on the farm.
Our meadows are cut at the perfect stage of growth to preserve nutrients and aroma, ensuring a soft, palatable hay that’s ideal for horses, ponies, and small livestock.
Available in small bales (perfect for stables and smallholdings) or by bulk order for local delivery, our hay is clean, dry, and naturally sun-cured.
Ewes
Our carefully selected flock of ewes thrives on pasture rich in grass, clover, and wild herbs. Raised in a calm, natural environment, the flock grows slowly, developing strong bone, muscle, and immune health.
We rear our sheep grass-fed and high-welfare, producing lambs known for their tender texture and naturally delicate flavour.
Finished lambs are sent directly to market, where quality and welfare standards remain our top priority.
READY TO BURN LOGS
Our seasoned hardwood logs are sourced from our own managed woodland.
Cut, split, and air-dried for over 12 months, they offer a clean, long-burning heat with minimal smoke.
Perfect for wood burners, stoves, and open fires, each load is responsibly harvested and prepared for efficient burning.
Available in bulk bags or loose loads, with local delivery throughout the area.
