Peppermint Makes Royal Windsor History Once Again

Following an exceptional start to the 2026 show season, JSW Showkayces Peppermint Blaze added another remarkable chapter to her growing legacy by making history once again at the prestigious Royal Windsor Horse Show.

In 2025, Peppermint became the first American Miniature Horse ever to win the CHAPS Non-Native Pony class at Royal Windsor, triumphing against full-sized horses and ponies at one of the world's most prestigious equestrian events.

Returning to Windsor in 2026 brought a new challenge. Winning such a class once is a remarkable achievement—but defending that title against another outstanding field is even more difficult.

Expertly presented by Philip Ward-Burton, Peppermint rose to the occasion once again. Displaying her trademark elegance, balance and presence, she captivated the judges to successfully retain her title, becoming the first American Miniature Horse to win the CHAPS Non-Native Pony class at Royal Windsor Horse Show in consecutive years.

This historic achievement further establishes Peppermint as one of the most successful American Miniature Horses to compete in open competition in the United Kingdom. The Royal Windsor success came just weeks after Peppermint was crowned Senior Mare Grand Champion, AMHA Reserve Supreme Champion, and secured Minstrels Miniature Horses' first Horse of the Year Show qualification of the 2026 season at the UKAMHS AMHA Open Spring Show.
