Minstrels Miniatures Horses
19 May 2025
Minstrels Miniature Horses had an outstanding start to the 2025 show season, making a strong impression at two of the UK’s premier equestrian events — the Royal Windsor Horse Show and Devon County Show.
At Royal Windsor Horse Show, the stud presented a quality trio of American Miniature Horses:
JSW Showkayces Peppermint Blaze – 3-year-old mare, shown by Kevin Lee
SHM Westernboys Red Roses – 2-year-old mare, shown by Image Mann
Alliance Boleros Fortunato – 12-year-old gelding
Peppermint Blaze delivered a standout performance in the Coloured, Non-Native Youngstock and Coloured, Non-Native In-Hand Pony classes, both sponsored by the Leeman Family, earning 2nd and 1st placings. Roses also shone with Top 5 placings in both classes, holding her own in highly competitive company. Alliance Boleros Fortunato impressed with his elegance and professionalism, completing a strong showing for the team.
Both mares then travelled to Devon County Show, where they competed in the American Miniature Horse Association qualifiers. SHM Westernboys Red Roses was crowned Champion, securing her qualification, while JSW Showkayces Peppermint Blaze followed closely behind as Reserve Champion.
The results mark a fantastic start to the season for Minstrels Miniature Horses, who continue to showcase the excellence, versatility, and show-ring appeal of the American Miniature Horse on the UK stage.
